"Dead led a-stray"

Films: The Pack (1977)

Alias: Various dog breeds

Type: Natural

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: That of their respective breeds.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Being abandoned by the one you pledged loyalty to can sting a lot. Especially when you're wearing the arbitrary title of Man's best friend. But there will be others like you, and what better way to vent these frustrations than to pay violence unto the ones who left you behind.

History: On Seal Island, many dogs tend to be abandoned by tourists. These strays, led by a particularly ravaged mongrel, have come together, united as a pack under their shared hatred of the society that left them. Every day and night, they go out and maul both man and any dog that doesn't see things their way. Indeed, they are the top predators of the island.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The dogs are eventually led into a building set to explode. The mongrel manages to evade death by explosion, but in his bloodlust, he falls onto a sharp pipe, killing him. The only survivor of the pack's fiery demise is a rookie among their ranks, who gladly returns to being a friend to man.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-These dogs manage to take the ferocity and pack hunting of their ancestors and bring it back in style. The leading mongrel in particular is a fright due to how scarred and vicious he looks. Compared to these dogs, the ones from last year's film are fairly equal in the levels of carnage they bring about.

Trivia: -Seal Island is a real location, being an island located in Southwest Canada, and the location of the oldest lighthouse in Canada.

-A mongrel is, in it's purest definition, a dog of no discernable breed. It might explain a bit of this pack hunter's scorn with the world.

This pack isn't fooling around. They mean what they say when they bark.

Cujo wasn't even a puppy when this was happening.
Just like old times. Prehistoric times, that is.

"We demand the head of Garfielf!"

You know what? Was the original draft for Cujo a Golden Retriever?
Reap what you sow, Micheal Vick.
